I was a graduate of University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio 1973. I am retired now from operating room nursing although I miss it very much. I am now taking care of family...what a change that is. I have a black standard dacshund and a sorrel Peruvian Paso horse.
I enjoy every aspect of horsemanship form trails to everyday care of BBR El Tejano and his pasturemate Jewel, a Tennesse Walking horse. Caring for both horses keeps me busy.
I am planning a retirement party for my husband of 35 years. He is retiring from a lifetime as an airline pilot with United Airlines.....age 60 was his original retirement goal and we have managed to attain that goal with frugality
and MUCH planning. It meant moving out of Florida and leaving many freinds there, but we have developed loads of freinds here. And, there is my family in this state as well as my hubbies family.
We enjoy our motorcycling as well as my horse and our families. We plan to do a lot of driving around the country these next few years.
We have been to most of the KHS reunions and plan to attend the 68 reunion. See you there!!
