Garland and I have been married for 37 years and have 2 wonderful children (our son is a police officer and our daughter is a music teacher). We have 3 TERRIFIC grandchildren and we love being grandparents.
I have been in education for the past 34 years and am a principal at Venable Village Elementary School with Killeen ISD. I love every minute of it and although I can retire - I have no plans at the moment. Garland is a retired Texas State Trooper and is currently the Justice of the Peace.
Garland and I started our married life living in Irving, Texas, then Uncle Sam knocked on our door and Garland was drafted. We spent his military time in the state of New York. Then we returned to Texas and lived in Austin. He was a state trooper and I was a teacher. Then we had the opportunity to return to Killeen and have been here ever since.
Killeen has been very good to us and we enjoy calling ourselves KILLEENITES!
